This was possibly the most incoherent rants ever recorded. Clearly this lecture itself will never be a masterpiece especially when one cannot understand it!
Gertrude Stein says and I say that because I read her words but is what we read as true as what we remember reading this is what I've thought about all day. A master-piece is identity born of no identity and time is a function of identity because you know me now but no one will no me someday and even Mona Lisa will be dust but her identity will endure which is why she not the pigment not the wood not the painter not the thing itself or the act of creation but individual identity in relation to identity makes the piece our master. Therefore identity from nothing in time at a scale incomprehensible to finite creatures gives rise to identities we come to live with as we live with our warts.
Master-piece is exactly what this essay is! Not your ordinary, typical writing you see on a normal basis. This was great and it really gets you thinking. Stimulate your mind, people!
